In January we reported that ALTDEUS: Beyond Chronos was coming to PlaySation VR, and this has now released on the PlayStation Store today.
ALTDEUS: Beyond Chronos, the sci-fi, anime-style adventure with a twisting narrative and difficult choices developed by the industry veterans at MyDearest Inc., is now available on PlayStation VR, fresh off of winning the 2020 Famitsu/Dengeki Award in the Adventure Category, and becoming one of the top-rated apps on the Oculus Store – check out our review of the Oculus version.
Meteoras, colossal aliens which destroyed Earth’s surface 200 years after TOKYO CHRONOS, drove humans into the underground Augmented Tokyo. Amassing their forces to fight back, human armies deploy Makhia, giant mecha with Rail Cannons powerful enough to destroy the alien invaders.
Play as Lieutenant Chloe, an android and humanity’s best chance at returning to the surface. Fight in mech battles alongside her AI assistant Noa, who resembles Chloe’s departed friend Coco. Chloe fights to avenge her friend who was devoured by the Meteoras, while struggling with her relationship with Noa who is ever-present in her dual roles as aide and a pop singer, while acting nothing like Coco.
Between mecha battles, explore Augmented Tokyo, interact with residents, or tune into cyber Noa’s 360-degree J-pop concerts. Discover a story with numerous branching paths and multiple endings using the Libra system , which points out impactful choices and unvisited story branches.
