One game VR users have been waiting to find its way on to the Oculus Quest is, Vertigo Games Arizona Sunshine. Well the wait is nearly over, with the game coming to Oculus Quest on December 5th.
Meaning one of virtual reality’s most played and award-winning titles, will soon be in the hands of all those Quest users old and new – marking three years after the game was originally released.
However, over the weekend Vertigo Games has reconfirmed Arizona Sunshine on the Quest will not support cross-platform multiplayer – this is due to the game being built from the ground up for the platform.
Arizona Sunshine was rebuilt in its entirety for Oculus Quest and puts up to four players in the midst of the VR zombie apocalypse that fans have come to love. Jump guns blazing into a southwestern America overrun by zombies anytime, anywhere in the unprecedented freedom offered by Oculus Quest and fight hordes of zombies coming at you from 360 degrees. Handle weapons with real-life movements, freely explore a post-apocalyptic world, and put your survival skills to the test in untethered VR – putting the undead back to rest is more thrilling than ever before.
the VR shooter is now available for pre-order in the Oculus Store with a pre-order discount of 10% running up to December 2nd. Its DLC will arrive on Quest in the following months; a timeline and details will be announced shortly.
