Nearly a year ago the VR platform got a treat with the release of Pixel Ripped 1989, a game that took players down memory lane of  gaming in the late 80’s. The the team behind the game ARVORE have now revealed their talented team are working on the sequel to their successful title.

This time players will be getting taken through the nostalgia of gaming in 1995, as games were evolving from 16-bit to 32-bit, and environments were also evolving from 2D to 3D. Players of the original have more of connection to the game as they might originally notice. If you played the original you might remember choosing your favourite year, well the developers took this information to make the decision on when to base the second game on. Which we feel is a fantastic move, and shows the connection the team have always had with the Pixel Ripped community.

In the sequel Cyblin Lord will be returning again to steal the Pixel Stone, but of course of the hero wont allow this to happen. Again AVORE’S creative director Ana Ribeiro will be leading the development of Pixel Ripped 1995. With Ana and team being committed to bringing players another labour of love, that will be built ground up for VR.

On this news, Ricardo Justus, Co-Founder of AVORE said;

“Thanks to the success of the first game we are able to dedicate more resources and have a lot more experience to create a game that is an even crazier nostalgic adventure. The setting of 1995 also gives us a lot of great classics to reference and a whole new world to explore,”
