PotamWorks certainly keep themselves busy, with all the DLC track packs that have been extending the games already impressive track list, that caters for many tastes in music. To also releasing the MR mode for the Meta Quest 3, adding Paint Shop mode to it and now bring the latest update to both MR and VR.

The MR mode essentially works the same, with the wall breaking away in your game room/gaming space, but now you are on a stage and overlooking a crowd made of silhouette sprites. Giving that instant feeling of being on the stage playing at a rock show – see the name is starting to make sense.

As you start to play the songs the rest of the live show starts to come to life, as a laser show starts, fire works are flying above the crowd and it all lights up as you raise your drum sticks in to the air… this takes it from that rock show to the frickin rock show we all want to be part of . Add to the MR mode being able to break more of your walls down to expand what you are seeing,

Of course all the base songs and the DLC track packs are playable in this mode and the lasers and firework shows are made to work perfectly with the beat and drums of that set track. Which really gives you perfect feeling of playing each song at a massive rock show to the live audience – and with recently being at The Killers gig and them having a laser show like I have never seen before, seeing this in VR from a stage view like I am playing the show myself was fantastic.

The free update is available now, so make sure to check it out and if you haven’t got the game already why not? Also that fancy laser show has been added to the multiplayer mode.
