The long-running cartoon Spongebob Squarepants, which was very popular due to its mix of adult humor and stupidity for the younger generations, and was a staple of my late teens and early adult watching. So, bringing this together with an addictive game like PowerWash Simulator was a stroke of genius.

This DLC pack takes you to multiple locations around Bikini Bottom in VR, and offers six new jobs in total. These jobs will see you cleaning;

• Conch Street
• The Bikini Bottom Bus
• The Krusty Krab and Chum Bucket
• The Patty Wagon
• The Invisible Boatmobile
• The Mermalair

All of these will be covered in the thick goo, and as you would expect it is now your job to remove it all using you specially designed power washer. If you have played PowerWash Simulator before you will know what to expect, as it does not mix-up how you clean you will be using various nozzles and soaps to get rid of all the thick grimy mess that has taken over Bikini Bottom.

As well the specially designed power washer, your character will also get the SpongeBob treatment and you hands are replaced with fins, keeping the overall feel of being inside Bikini Bottom. The feeling of being at these locations is on intensified by great texture work for every location, object and items and special audio prompts, making it feel like something right out of the show.

The Verdict

PowerWash Simulator and Spongebob Squarepants is the perfect combination for someone like me that is a fan of show, mixing the addictive and relaxing gameplay with the feeling of being in Bikini Bottom is like a dream come true. Even if you are not a big fan of the show, you can still have plenty of fun completing the new mix of jobs that will give you another five to six-hours of cleaning fun – and more time in PowerWash Simulator is never a bad thing.
