The five songs included in the pack are;

Blondie – One Way Or Another,
KISS – Rock And Roll All Nite
Lynyrd Skynyrd – Sweet Home Alabama
The Police – Roxanne
 ZZ Top – La Grange

As you would expect all the songs come with multiple difficulties modes. Outside of the set difficulties in the game each of the fives songs will differ in how advance they are to play as well, with Roxanne being the easiest and La Grange being the hardest to me. However, I did manage to get through each track on my first attempt, although the scores were low and over time playing them I have managed to improve them significantly.

One thing I love about Smash Drums, which makes it one of my favourite rhythm games is every song is very well mapped and makes it feel like you are playing the actual drums – and this feeling is not lost with these 1970’s classics.

One thing I was pleased to see is all the songs worked across all of the solo game modes offered, so you can play them in arcade, classic and the recently released MR mode Smashed Reality.

THE VERDICT

PotamWorks have smashed it out of the park with their first paid DLC, bringing 1970’S classics to an already enjoyable song-list in Smash Drums. With songs that will not only have you drumming but also singing along to as you play. With support for every game mode allowing you to drum away in your preferred style of playing.
