This time around rather than visiting the bottom of the sea, you will be travelling back in time to clean up some of the iconic vehicles and sets from Back to the Future. Giving people the chance to visit these iconic scenes and clean them in the most immersive way via Virtual Reality.

The DLC pack will give the chance to clean the following;

• Doc Brown’s van
• The Time Machine
• Doc’s Time Train
• The Hill Valley Clocktower
• The Holomax Theatre

All of these are covered in dirt, grime and filth, and again it is your job to make all of these sparkle again, unfortunately this time we don’t get any themed power washer – which I would have loved to see one that looked like it was constructed by Doc Brown. Of course it follows the usual gameplay loop of cleaning all these with the various nozzles and soaps, until they are lovely and clean again.

The team have done a fantastic job again at bringing the scenes and settings to life inline with the movies, however, I did suffer some stutters on Quest 3 when things became animated when completing jobs. Also, on the Time Train I did find some of the more finer details did have very jaggy outlines around the cut out parts in the metal, but this was few and far in-between and did not ruin the experience of cleaning it.

The Verdict

Again PowerWash Simulator has found a great combination, allowing the players and fans of Back to the Future visit locations and clean sets and vehicles from the films. As someone who is addicted to PowerWash Simulator VR and also loves Back to the Future I loved every second completing the new jobs. Again, as with the Spongebob DLC, you really do not need to be a fan of the movies, if you love PowerWash Simulator you will still have fun in these additional jobs – so, why not expand the your playtime by another five plus hours?
